Law school is a marathon, not a sprint. Over the course of your time at Emory Law, there will be various stressors and it is important to take care of yourself holistically and not just academically. This is a professional competency that will serve you throughout your career.
The university and law school have excellent resources to support students and we encourage you to take advantage of them. Our office is happy to help students navigate the various resources offered.
Mental Health Resources

- Students have access to telehealth services via TimelyCare. These services include scheduled counseling and access to a 24/7 TalkNow service.
Wellbeing Support
- Anytime Health Resources from Emory Emory provides all students access to telehealth services. These services includes medical, mental health, and general wellness services to support a variety of student needs.

- For Students in Recovery: The Student in Recovery listserv was developed by the ABA Commission on Lawyer Assistance Programs (CoLAP) to provide a confidential email vehicle for law students who want to get, or stay, clean and sober while in law school. This service is confidential. If you wish to be added to the Listserv, interested law students should visit the Students in Recovery website.
