Spring 2025 Graduation

The law school’s Spring 2024 Degree Candidate Recognition Ceremony were held on Sunday, May 11, 2025, in Woodruff Physical Education Center is located at 26 Eagle Row, Atlanta GA 30322.

The ceremony will feature remarks by Emory Law Dean Rich Freer and winners of the Most Outstanding Graduating Student and Most Outstanding Professor awards. 

Graduation Checklist

FEBRUARY

• Apply to Graduate: The deadline to apply for graduation is February 14, 2025. If you miss the February deadline, complete the paper form and email it to lawregistrar@emory.edu Dual Degree students must submit a degree application to both schools. You will apply online, in OPUS, for the degree of the school at which you are currently enrolled. A paper degree application must be submitted to the other school. Online and/or paper degree applications are due to both schools by the application deadline.
• Check your name in OPUS: Is your name spelled correctly in OPUS? Have you noted your preferred name? How your preferred name appears in OPUS is how it will be listed on the Degree Candidate Recognition Ceremony booklet. The name change deadline is February 28, 2025.
